Who we are?

History

Bionexx's journey began in 2005 when artemisinin was selected by the WHO to treat malaria. The first phase of the project involved establishing the agricultural sector in Madagascar, followed by the acquisition of an extraction and purification site meeting international standards and the construction of a dedicated workshop for artemisinin production.

With a network of over 20,000 producers, Bionexx produces approximately 20 tons of artemisinin crystals annually, providing daily availability of artemisinin for 100,000 treatments (allowing 100,000 people to treat malaria daily). Bionexx is currently among the top 10 global artemisinin producers and the only one not located in China

In recent years, Bionexx has expanded its offer beyond artemisinin, enhancing Madagascar's unique flora through a range of plant extracts.
